Star Alert, an emergency notification text messaging system, makes it possible for students and employees to receive quick notification by cell phone and/or e-mail of campus-related emergencies. In the event of an emergency, a text message will be sent to the cell number and/or email address provided.

I understand this is a free service provided by Riverland Community College, however, normal message fees may apply. To receive text messages to your cell phone, your cell phone must have text messaging capabilities. Notifications are dependent upon external providers. Riverland Community College cannot guarantee notifications will be received by the intended recipient.
