The Wireless Emergency Notification System is a free service provided by the City of Fairlawn to its citizens who subscribe to the service. The service provides that in the event of an emergency, a text message will be sent to the mobile number AND/OR email address provided below outlining the nature of the emergency. Please note however, even though the service is free, there may be a minimal text message fee charged by your cell phone provider depending upon your cell phone usage plan.
